2007 Gulf Coast Area Rider of the Year

The 2007 Moto-X Report.com Gulf Coast Area Rider of the Year was announced prior to day 2 racing at the 2nd Annual Texas State Motocross Championship at Freestone County Raceway. Conroe, Texas native and Honda of Houston team rider Randy DiBartolo was the recipient of this prestigious award in 2007. DiBartolo was on hand to receive his award and to also go out and show the fans why he was chosen among many deserving and talented riders in the Gulf Coast region of the country.

DiBartolo had an outstanding 2007 racing season in spite of an injury sustained in March at the Lake Whitney Spring Classic. RD still managed to qualify for the Loretta Lynn's AMA Amateur National Finals in Hurricane Mills, Tn where he would finish with a 4th and 7th overall in his classes. The JM Racing star followed this performance with multiple podium finishes at the Branson Finals in October. Congrats to Randy !!! Past winners include Clayton Miller, James Marshall, and Justin Summers.

On hand to help Doc Melloy with the presentation were Tony Miller (Freestone County Raceway), Herman Teale (Crown Trophy), and Dave Martin (Honda of Houston Racing).
